History

The College of Management was established in 1997 and has been developing rapidly ever since. Altogether there are six departments: Business Administration, Industrial Management, Agribusiness Management, Management Information Systems, Hotel and Restaurant Management and Fashion Design and Management. All of the departments above have master’s programs. The College of Management also has 1 Degree Program and two graduate Institutes: The International Bachelor’s Degree Program in Finance, the Graduate Institute of Landscape Architecture and Recreation Management, and the Graduate Institute of Management of Innovation and Technology. Additionally, for students with more extensive work experience, we offer an Executive Management of Business Administration (EMBA). With well-organized and completed structure, the College of Management runs smoothly and offers programs and courses that suit industrial needs.

Direction of Development

We cultivate management and technology talents whose specialties are oriented toward the fields of agribusiness and biotechnology business. Our research development and training program are oriented toward high-tech manufacturing technology and biotechnology to cultivate management talents in agribusiness and biotechnology business.

 

We cultivate management and technology talents whose specialties are oriented toward the field of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME). We cultivate business management talents with fundamental knowledge of total quality management and cost competitive advantage to help SMEs adapt themselves in accordance with the change of the markets.

 

We cultivate business management talents whose specialties are oriented toward the service industry, including hospitality and leisure. Specifically following the trend of our country people’s pursuit of quality of life, we cultivate economic management talents in the hospitality, leisure business, and service industry.

 

We cultivate management talents with an international orientation. To align with the country’s goal of trade liberalization and internalization, we actively cultivate business management talents that have both a localized and international business philosophy.
