Introduction
AACSB International (AACSB), a global nonprofit association, connects educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders.
Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and learning and development services to over 1,700 member organizations and more than 900 accredited business schools worldwide. As of December 2021, there are currently 40 AACSB educational member institutions in Taiwan, and 27 schools (out of 40) were accredited.
AACSB-Accreditation Standards
AACSB’s business accreditation standards have continued to be revised to improve relevancy, maintain currency, and increase value. Most recently, the Business Accreditation Task Force spent over a year and a half working on improving the business standards to meet the needs of future business school learners, of global business, and of society in general. The outcome of the task force’s work is the 2020 Guiding Principles and Standards for Business Accreditation, adopted by the AACSB Accreditation Council on July 28, 2020. The following is the comparison of 2020 standards and 2013 standards.
